This is the house that Sue McColl built.

Or perhaps more accurately, it’s the already attractive detached home in Stockport she’s improved upon.

How? By enlisting the help of her loft conversion specialist Access Loft who use VELUX products extensively.

Flexibility is what more and more people are demanding from their homes these days and the McColl family are no exception.

Sue needed to accommodate friends and family at various times of the year. Plus, she needed her own home office to work from.

As you’ll see from the following pictures the answer was to add an impressive third-floor extension, and to transform the dead space of her attic into an inspirational living area full of fresh air and light.
